In a major step towards uplifting B40 and economically disadvantaged youth, DHS Hospitality Academy<\/strong> and Pertubuhan Amal Uncle Kentang Malaysia<\/strong> have signed a three-year partnership agreement<\/strong> aimed at providing professional skills training in the hospitality and tourism industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement, valued at over RM 1.3 million<\/strong>, will enable hundreds of Malaysian youths each year to receive international-standard training<\/strong> both in Singapore and Malaysia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dato\u2019 S. Sreekumar<\/strong>, President of DHS Hospitality Academy, said that the academy \u2014 one of Malaysia\u2019s most renowned institutions in the field \u2014 is proud to lead this transformative initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • UK-DHS Singapore Joint Training Programme:<\/strong>
    Each year, 100 youths will undergo a six-month training programme in Singapore.
    This partially funded initiative<\/strong> offers a monthly allowance of SGD 650 to SGD 1,100<\/strong>, along with accommodation and meals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • UK-DHS Fully Sponsored Internship Programme:<\/strong>
    Under this fully funded diploma-level programme<\/strong>, 25 youths annually will receive 15 months of professional hospitality and tourism training<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Malaysia Hotel Internship Programme:<\/strong>
    A total of 97 Malaysian youths<\/strong> will undergo 12 months of hands-on training<\/strong> in local hotels, with a monthly allowance of RM 700<\/strong>, free accommodation, meals, and tuition fees<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
