Innovative Workforce Development Initiative Provides Fully Sponsored MQA Diploma in Hotel Management Through Collaboration with International College Yayasan Melaka<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MELAKA<\/strong> \u2013 Malaysian youths now have an alternative pathway to pursue higher education without the financial burden of student loans through the DHS Talent Rise Workforce Development Programme<\/strong>, an industry-driven initiative designed to develop future hospitality professionals. The programme, conducted in collaboration with International College Yayasan Melaka (ICYM)<\/strong>, offers students the opportunity to pursue an MQA-accredited Diploma in Hotel Management<\/strong>, with the full programme fees sponsored through arrangements made by DHS Hospitality Academy Sdn. Bhd.<\/strong> together with industry partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike conventional higher education pathways where many students depend on PTPTN loans to finance their studies, Talent Rise adopts a different approach by placing industry investment at the centre of education and career development. Through this initiative, students are able to obtain a recognised qualification, receive financial support and gain practical industry experience while graduating without education debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hospitality industry is one of Malaysia\u2019s key economic sectors, contributing significantly to tourism growth, employment opportunities and national development. However, the industry continues to require a strong pipeline of skilled and professionally trained Malaysian talent. Recognising this need, DHS Hospitality Academy developed Talent Rise as a workforce development model where employers actively participate in developing future professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the programme, industry partners support students by sponsoring their education fees and providing allowances during their learning journey. This allows students to focus on building their knowledge, skills and professional capabilities without worrying about accumulating education loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breaking the Cycle of Student Debt – <\/strong>For many young Malaysians, entering higher education often comes with the challenge of financing their studies. Although education loans such as PTPTN have helped many students access higher education, graduates frequently begin their careers with repayment commitments.
