In a major step towards uplifting B40 and economically disadvantaged youth, DHS Hospitality Academy and Pertubuhan Amal Uncle Kentang Malaysia have signed a three-year partnership agreement aimed at providing professional skills training in the hospitality and tourism industries.
The agreement, valued at over RM 1.3 million, will enable hundreds of Malaysian youths each year to receive international-standard training both in Singapore and Malaysia.
Dato’ S. Sreekumar, President of DHS Hospitality Academy, said that the academy — one of Malaysia’s most renowned institutions in the field — is proud to lead this transformative initiative.
“We are committed to creating real opportunities that help young Malaysians gain global work experience and reduce dependence on foreign labour,” he said.
