In a meaningful gesture of unity, compassion, and youth empowerment this Christmas season, DHS Hospitality Academy proudly announces the launch of its FREE Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Sponsorship & Allowance Program, benefiting 100 Malaysian youths who have completed their SPM, UEC, or IGCSE. This fully sponsored initiative is part of DHS Hospitality’s Youth Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, designed to provide deserving youths with access to quality education, international exposure, and sustainable career opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry. Under the program, selected participants will receive a 100% sponsored Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism, inclusive of airfare from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, monthly living allowance, and full academic sponsorship throughout the program duration.
“This initiative reflects the true spirit of Christmas — giving hope, creating opportunities, and investing in the future of our youth. At DHS Hospitality Academy, we believe education is the most powerful gift we can offer to build stronger communities and a more inclusive future,” said Dr S. Sri Kumar Founder / Group Director DHS Hospitality Academy.
The program is open to Malaysian youths who have completed secondary education through SPM, UEC, or IGCSE, ensuring inclusivity and equal access regardless of academic stream or background. Participants will benefit from Singapore’s world-class hospitality education ecosystem, known for its high professional standards and global industry recognition. Beyond academic learning, the program emphasizes personal development, cultural exposure, and career readiness, preparing graduates for employment opportunities across hotels, resorts, tourism companies, airlines, and service-related industries regionally and internationally.
Christmas symbolizes hope, generosity, unity, and compassion. Through this initiative, DHS Hospitality translates these values into action by uplifting young lives through education rather than short-term aid. The program stands as a testament to the organization’s belief in building long-term impact by empowering future leaders and professionals.
The initiative is expected to:
- Empower 100 Malaysian youths with fully sponsored education
- Strengthen Malaysia–Singapore collaboration in talent development
- Support workforce sustainability in the hospitality and tourism sector
- Demonstrate corporate leadership through inclusive and meaningful CSR action
